Guatemala Huehuetenango coffee beans for a deeper, richer cup: dark chocolate and butterscotch with bright fruit running through it. Single-origin, washed, medium-dark roast, roasted to order.
High, cold, and unhurried. That's Huehuetenango. In the far northwest of Guatemala, close to the Mexican border, farms here grow coffee at up to 1,900 meters. The Cuchumatanes mountains block the cold winds that damage coffee at elevation elsewhere, so the cherries ripen slowly and completely. The result is a denser, sweeter bean with more to give in the cup.
Washed process, medium-dark roast. The extra time in the roaster brings the natural sugars forward: dark chocolate and butterscotch up front, with bright fruit running through the cup. It's warm, it's grounding, and it's made for slow mornings in heavy mugs.
Roasted to order the week your bag ships. Not three months ago. Not last week. This week.
